Yoga for Wellness

Date: Thursdays, January 9, 2025 – February 12, 2025
Time: 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Location: Riverdale Community Hall (9231 – 100 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T5H 0A4)

A 6-week gentle yoga session designed to enhance overall well-being. Experience gentle postures, calming breathwork, and guided meditations designed to stretch and strengthen your body while easing your mind into relaxation. Suitable for first-time yoga practitioners and those seeking a gentler approach to their practice.

No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Space is limited to 15 participants. Please register early.
Sessions can be reimbursed by extended care plans. Please check with your provider before registering.

Registered Psychologist and Certified Yoga Instructor

Essentials to Bring:
Yoga mat, a blanket or towel, water bottle.

Optional Props:
Yoga blocks, straps, and bolsters.

Additional Tips:

  • Please wear comfortable, breathable clothing. Non-slip socks can also provide extra grip for steady practice.
  • Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in.
  • Please inform the instructor of any injuries.

Yoga for Restful Sleep

Date: February 9, 2025                     Time: 1:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.

Venue: Yoga Within (9014 – 75 Street NW, Edmonton)

Enhance your sleep quality with this comprehensive workshop, integrating the latest findings in sleep science with the ancient practice of yoga. Learn yoga postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation practices designed to reduce stress and promote restful sleep.

No previous yoga experience necessary.
