Therapeutic Yoga for Sleep

Date: Sundays, September 10,17, & 24, 2023                     Time: 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

Venue: Yoga Within (Roots on Whyte – #302, 8135 – 102 st NW, Edmonton)

This workshop combines sleep and yoga science to provide effective strategies for improving sleep quality. You will be introduced to yoga postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation practices known to release stress and induce sleep.

Sleep is vital for maintaining optimal health and well-being throughout life. This session combines sleep and yoga science and is designed to provide evidence-based strategies for improving sleep quality. In addition to the latest findings in sleep research, you will be introduced to sleep journaling, sleep hygiene, asana (yoga postures), breathing, and relaxation practices known to release stress and induce sleep. You will also learn to track your unique sleep patterns, set sleep goals, and monitor progress during this three-week session.

In-studio session only. Limited to 8 registrants.
Sessions can be reimbursed by extended care plans. Please check with your provider before registering.

Wellness workshops can be reimbursed fully or in part by extended health care plans. Clients are encouraged to find out the details about their plan (e.g., deductible, authorization for number of visits etc.) prior to registering. Please note that clients are responsible for all fee payments regardless of whether their health insurance provides reimbursement.
