Yoga for Wellness

Date: Thursdays, September 5, 2024 – October 10, 2024
Time: 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

Location: Riverdale Community Hall (9231 – 100 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T5H 0A4)

Experience gentle postures, calming breathwork, and guided meditation. Sessions are thoughtfully designed to help you stretch and strengthen your body while easing your mind into a state of relaxation. Suitable for first-time yoga practitioners and anyone seeking a gentler approach to their practice.

No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Space is limited to 15 participants. Please register early.
Please check with your provider before registering. Sessions can be reimbursed by extended care plans.

Essentials to Bring:
Yoga mat, a blanket or towel, water bottle.

Optional Props:
Yoga blocks, straps, and bolsters.

Additional Tips:

  • Please wear comfortable, breathable clothing. Non-slip socks can also provide extra grip for steady practice.
  • Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in.
  • Please inform the instructor of any injuries.

$60 for Riverdale CL members
$75 for Non-members
$15 drop-in, if space available


Wellness workshops can be reimbursed fully or in part by extended health care plans. Clients are encouraged to find out the details about their plan (e.g., deductible, authorization for number of visits etc.) prior to registering. Please note that clients are responsible for all fee payments regardless of whether their health insurance provides reimbursement.
